Euonymus Alata 'Compacta'
BURNING BUSH
Type: low care deciduous slow growing shrub
Bloom season: small flowers, followed by showy orange red berries in late spring.
Height: 4 to 6 feet tall and wide
Site & Soil: full sun to part shade; average, well drained soil. The brighter spot the more brilliant the red fall foliage color will be.
Pruning: smaller varieties seldom need pruning of any kind.  Light pruning can be done anytime, but severe pruning should be done in late winter.
Propagation:  start from cuttings taken in August or September.
Hardiness: zones 5 - 7
